Gas tankless water heater
A.O. Smith, announces the extension of the Adapt Gas Tankless Water Heater family with the addition of the Adapt™ SC Standard Condensing Gas Tankless Water Heater and the Adapt™ NC Non-Condensing Gas Tankless Water Heater. This product is the ideal for contractors looking for a high efficiency solution for their everyday customers. Available in 160k, 180k and 199k BTU/Hr models, the Adapt SC models are ENERGY STAR-certified and feature a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 0.95. The water heater is designed for universal installation, either indoor or outdoor. A four-button display makes adjusting the unit simple and easy. The Adapt NC Tankless Water Heater will launch later this year and will initially be available in an indoor model, with an outdoor model to follow. The builder-grade Adapt NC series will be available in 180k and 199k BTU/Hr to, making it flexible to fit various installation needs, from replacements to new construction. The Adapt NC series will also come with the ability to link multiple units together using a single cascade cable.

Boiler room equipment package
Superior Boiler will provide a complete boiler room equipment package for a major plant expansion. The project underscores Superior Boiler’s commitment to supplying high-quality, American-made equipment to industries that demand maximum performance and long-term reliability. The system Superior Boiler will provide includes four 1,500-HP Mohican firetube boilers, along with a matching deaerator and blowdown separator. To ensure smooth field installation and an efficient startup, in conjunction with the customer’s request, all equipment underwent complete factory fire testing before leaving Superior Boiler’s facilities. Superior Boiler will deliver equipment in phases to align with the facility’s construction schedule. The company has already shipped the first two boilers, the deaerator and the blowdown separator.

As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation, service and quality, Cleveland Controls is proud to introduce the new ANS2 Series Air Pressure Switch. The ANS2 is a universal, field-adjustable switch designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems, commercial kitchen equipment (such as hoods and fryers), outdoor radiant heating products, pool and spa heating and a variety of other applications. It offers simple calibration by turning the key on the adjustment cover with an Allen wrench and using the scale to select the desired set point. Its straightforward design ensures that it can be calibrated and installed with ease, saving valuable time and effort. The ANS2 is available in three set point ranges: ANS2-1000: 0.08" wc to 1.0" wc, ANS2-2000: 0.15" wc to 2.0" wc and ANS2-3000: 2.0" wc to 10.0" wc.

GE Appliances announced with the all-new GE Profile GEOSPRING Smart Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater. The GE Profile GEOSPRING utilizes advanced heat pump technology to provide up to 4.7 times more energy efficiency than standard electric water heaters and is up to 20% more energy efficient compared to other heat pump water heaters, leading to significant savings on energy bills. The FlexCapacity feature, made possible with a patented, electronic integrated mixing valve, can provide up to 60% more hot water3. Smart features through the SmartHQ app give owners total control, enabling them to monitor energy usage and costs, adjust temperature and capacity and set custom schedules.

End connections and air separator body
NIBCO INC. announced new Webstone G-Series products with interchangeable end connections and accessories to customize installation. Products include two new end connections and a new air separator body. The PP-RCT G-Union fittings are available in sizes ½" through 2" and are compatible with PP-R and PP-RCT piping systems. The new FTG G-Union fittings feature a type K copper tailpiece and are available in ½" through 2”, including reducing sizes. The horizontal mount air separator is now available with G-Thread ends, which are compatible with a wide assortment of G-Series fittings and accessories for a custom installation. All products are suitable for plumbing and heating applications.

Daikin OTERRA single-zone heat pumps are now available in convenient 115V models, featuring Daikin’s new SIGNA flareless adaptor for easier installation. Powered by Daikin inverter technology, these heat pumps handle a wide range of outside temperatures, cooling from 50° F - 115° F, heating from 5° F - 65° F. Plus, the Daikin OTERRA 115V operates quietly – as low as 25 dB(A) for indoor units and 46 dB(A) for outdoor units. Daikin’s SIGNA flareless adaptor allows for simple and fast copper pipe connections. A 15A circuit breaker occupies only one slot in the main breaker. Feature include detachable drain pans, cooling coils with anti-corrosion treatment for cleanliness and lifespan, an automatic defrost cycle and Daikin ONE home app compatibility. They feature low-GWP R-32 refrigerant.

Armstrong Fluid Technology has expanded its family of Vertical-In-Line Fire Pumps with the addition of the new 750gpm 5x4x10PF model. This new size is available with Design Envelope technology, featuring connected intelligence, performance tracking and automated alerts to support more cost-effective maintenance and better occupant safety. Due to the managed “ramp-up” of output, there are no pressure spikes on startup, pipes are better protected, water delivery is ensured and the risk of water hammer is reduced.
