General Pipe Cleaners
The Cold-Shot pipe-freezing Kit from General Pipe Cleaners lets professionals repair an operating water system — without draining lines, sprinklers or hot water systems before cutting pipe or tubing. It keeps a fully pressurized system operating while repairs are made. Using carbon dioxide (CO2) in dip-tube cylinders, Cold-Shot freezes liquids in steel, copper cast iron, aluminum or plastic pipes – 1/8” through 2” in diameter — in minutes. Safe and easy to use, simply place the freeze head around the pipe, attach the hose, and open the CO2 cylinder valve. Liquid CO2 flows into the Cold-Shot freeze head, forming an ice pack in the line capable of withstanding 7000 psi.

MagnaClean offers a new and unique way to capture both magnetic and nonmagnetic debris by combining powerful neodymium magnets with a range of high-quality 5-50-micron spun-bonded filter cartridges and needle-felt bag filters.

Aqua-Rex
Aqua-Rex is upgrading its commercial electronic water conditioners for treating hard water. The two largest standard models, WK4 for treating pipes up to 4” and the WK5 for treating pipes up to 6” now feature a fault-recording system accessible through the LCD display. It provides a complete operating history, including times that the unit has been disconnected and brought back online. This data logging feature is especially valuable in large facilities with interdepartmental and contract workers who might inadvertently disconnect the system and leave it offline, Aqua-Rex points out.
