ELEVATE2021 conference switches to virtual format

women in

industry

By Christen Allen

It may look and feel a little different this year, but some of the brightest and most driven women in the industry will gather again for the annual Women in Industry ELEVATE conference to rally around their personal development and establish valuable relationships.

This will be the seventh year of the conference, and the first time it will be presented in a virtual format, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. ASA’s Women in Industry division aims to help women achieve their personal and professional goals by offering invaluable networking opportunities and connections, and providing quality training, skills development and leadership opportunities.

Though we will miss the comradery and networking that an in-person event brings, the conference will still be packed with education and development. It will be full of relevant and robust content presented by a number of knowledgeable speakers and, of course, we’ll have some fun!

Women in Industry ELEVATE Virtual Speakers

Tami Evans: “Making the Most of Your Personal and Professional Journey” April 20, 10:15 a.m. CT
Sima Dahl “Lights, Camera, Action! Virtual Presentation Hacks for Participants & Presenters Alike” April 20, 11:15 a.m. CT
Patti Schmeda: “Influencing Without Authority” April 21, 1 p.m. CT
Tracie Sponenberg (The Granite Group): “Leading Remote Teams” April 22, 1 p.m. CT
Judith Honesty: “Crucial Conversations” April 23, 1 p.m. CT

Spread out over the course of a week (join us April 20-23) to avoid “Zoom fatigue,“ attendees can select from webinars covering topics ranging from how to influence others to leading teams remotely, and even how to have difficult conversations.

Learn the tools you need to help increase engagement and self-confidence in both your personal and professional journey. There is also a webinar with tips, tricks and time-saving hacks to ensure your virtual presentations and meetings are both energetic and engaging (this one should live up to its name!).

You’ll find something for everyone — the veterans who have been in the business for years and those just starting their careers, looking to absorb all there is to know about the industry and personal development.

Since the conference is virtual, registration is complimentary and open to all ASA women, not just those whose companies are members of the Women in Industry division.

There’s no better way to experience all the benefits and resources that membership in this ASA group has to offer. Make sure to take advantage of this opportunity to network, learn and grow.

“See” you in April!
