G-Union fittings
NIBCO INC. announces new Webstone G-Series products. A new compact design is now available on all G-Union fittings, in sizes ½” to 1”. The new models are nearly half the length of the originals, using less raw material, which results in lower costs. They also include an improved snug-fit gasket that stays in place during installation. Included in this launch is the new lead-free 48-piece G-Series contractor kit. It features an assortment of valves and fittings in sizes ranging from ½” to 1” and end connections in press, push, PEX, MIP, and FIP. The contractor kit saves users trips to the supply house and contains everything needed to get started with G-Series.

Resideo Technologies launched its new Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier. The company’s indoor air quality (IAQ) product offers installation efficiencies. Duel fuel units
Rheem announced the launch the Endeavor Line Classic Plus Series iR Residential Packaged Dual Fuel Units (RDFXYC). The RDFXYC units combine a heat pump and gas furnace into one versatile system. The RDFXYC unit is available in 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-ton models in both single- and three-phase configurations. The system features cooling efficiencies up to 15.2 SEER2 and heating efficiencies of 7.2 HSPF2. On extremely cold days, the unit switches to two-stage gas heat, with an AFUE rating of 81%, to ensure consistent comfort even in the harshest of climates. Homeowners can set a preferred temperature threshold, and when outdoor conditions fall below that point, the system automatically transitions from heat pump to gas furnace operation.

Indirect-fire water heater
HTP introduced the SuperStor Ultra EVO, an indirect-fired water heater built for integration into a wide range of residential and commercial applications. Features of the unit include: Multi-port flexibility, enhanced thermowell designs, dedicated recirculation port and lightweight advantage. It includes a pickled and passivated stainless-steel tank for corrosion resistance; premium stainless fittings, marine-grade AISI 316L stainless steel at the drain valve, inlet/outlet nipples and T&P valve for rock-solid reliability; and a 10-year standard residential warranty that can be extended to a lifetime warranty with online registration. The unit does not include an anode rod.

FloLogic
Point of leak detectors
FloLogic has introduced FloLogic PinPoint point of leak and environmental sensors. These sensors provide location-specific leak and room condition monitoring for instant, automatic water shutoff at the presence of water accumulation or low temperatures and provide additional monitoring and notifications of humidity levels. As catastrophic storm and wildfire events increase in frequency and severity, insurers are becoming more focused on loss categories that are preventable. PinPoint sensors monitor ambient temperature and humidity for notifications and auto water shut off in freezing conditions. As some commercial and multifamily properties are unable to utilize flow-based leak detection, PinPoint sensors can be installed without the presence of a FloLogic valve to provide protection for such properties, while when installed in a property with a FloLogic valve, they can be set in an alert-only mode when monitoring for water intrusion sources beyond the plumbing supply.
