The compact, lightweight Micro-Scope3 video inspection system from General Pipe Cleaners now includes enhancements to boost equipment performance, accuracy, versatility and convenience, the company states. New, stronger pushrod permits inspections in 1-1/2” to 4” drain lines up to 100’ long. A sonde on the end of the pushrod makes camera location easy with General’s Hot Spot locator. And Wi-Fi capability lets you view and record inspections on smartphones or tablets. General’s Micro-Scope3 is ideal for inspecting small drain lines, many toilet traps, and hard-to-check locations — like ducts, furnaces and crawl spaces.

Milwaukee launched the M18 PACKOUT Six Bay Rapid Charger. With the ability to rapid charge two batteries simultaneously, this new solution can charge six M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 battery packs in just three hours, so users can get back to work quicker. The new M18 PACKOUT Six Bay Rapid Charger can charge two batteries simultaneously at a rapid charge rate. Users can charge one battery at a time on each side of the charger, with charging then automatically moving sequentially to the next available battery as charging progresses.

Webstone, a brand of NIBCO, announces new Water Heater Service Valve Kits. These kits simplify the installation of water heaters and isolate the water supply and other peripheral devices for service. Hot and cold connection solutions are available with options for unique installation needs, including isolation valves, vacuum relief valves, and expansion tank service valves. All kits feature FIP dielectric unions for connection to the water heater and press or sweat options for connection to system piping. All products are forged from lead-free dezincification-resistant brass.

BK-Anti-Fog+ also beats the toughest anti-fog standard in the world, EN 166/168, the company claims. It also adds ANSI Z87.1/U6 ultraviolet protection, the highest standard in the world, to eliminate 99.99% of damaging UV rays.

The Snow-Melt Embeddable Attachment Grid can be embedded on top of existing concrete surfaces or under pavers, bluestone or tile. The grid has a 1” x 1” square pattern so snow melting cables can be secured to it with cable ties. Made of multi-filament polyester yarns, it is durable and can be easily cut to shape on the jobsite, the company says. The Snow Melt Embeddable Attachment Grid is available in 3’ x 50’ rolls and is compatible with WarmlyYours’s snow melting cables.

If an abnormal flow is detected, the water supply is automatically shut off to prevent water damage, and an alert is sent to the property owner or manager’s smartphone so that they can address the issue. The subscription-free RSC-900 app provides real-time and historical water consumption data and puts complete system control at a user’s fingertips. Multiple flow schedules can be set, with adjustable flow alarms that can be fine-tuned to a property’s usage patterns. The system’s shut-off valve can also be controlled remotely.
