The committee unanimously agreed to present to the association’s Executive Committee, which accepted two distinguished individuals from our distributor community.
It is with great pleasure that ASA will honor and present Mr. Steve Cook, CEO of Baltimore-based Northeastern Supply and Mr. Tim Milford, longtime CEO and now senior advisor at St. Louis, Missouri-based Milford Supply, with the 2025 Fred V. Keenan Lifetime Achievement Award.
To be eligible for consideration, a nominee should have exhibited a career of service in the PHCP/PVF industry, been personally influential on the current status of the channel with a history of dedicated service to ASA or the ASA Education Foundation, recognized for projecting a positive industry image, and positively affecting the industry in general and currently active in the industry but nearing the end of their career.

Cook and Milford are no strangers to elite-level ASA volunteer leadership. Cook was ASA’s 50th president and 51st individual to hold the presidency, serving his turn during ASA’s 50th anniversary year in 2019.
Milford was ASA’s president in 2016 and was the former president of the MwDA regional group that has since morphed into the expansive 13-state ASA Central region.
“Steve and Tim have a long history of serving the industry and national association,” ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi said. “It was easy for the committee to unanimously approve both to receive the association’s highest honor. ASA is blessed to have so many strong volunteer leaders who have given a lifetime of service to the industry’s only national trade association. Steve and Tim are key examples by which future recipients will be measured against.”
