Company: SupplyHouse

Title: Supplier quality specialist

How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?

Ten years.

What drew you into the industry?

I have always been fascinated by how things work and the reasons behind their design and function. While seeking a company that offered long-term growth opportunities, I discovered SupplyHouse. My late father and grandfather, both proud Steamfitters with Local 638 in New York City, instilled in me a deep respect for the trades. However, my greatest influence came from my stepfather, whose ability to embrace challenges, acquire new skills, and adapt to any situation inspired me to follow a similar path.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?

I am continually inspired by the people I interact with on a daily basis. Whether it’s uncovering a customer’s unique challenge and working toward a creative solution, or collaborating with highly skilled colleagues, each interaction is an opportunity to learn and grow. These experiences not only broaden my industry knowledge but also strengthen my professional development.

What motivates you every day?

I am motivated by the desire to contribute positively and be the change I want to see in the world. I welcome challenges as opportunities to apply the skills I’ve developed, guided by the values of Gratitude, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork, principles deeply ingrained in SupplyHouse’s culture. Each day presents the chance to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow personally and professionally.

What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?

I wish more people understood the complexity and collaboration behind even the simplest everyday conveniences. For example, something as routine as adjusting a thermostat involves countless moving parts, from manufacturing to logistics to installation, each step requiring precision and dedication. What appears simple is, in fact, the result of significant expertise and effort.

What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?

While I’ve celebrated many milestones throughout my career, the moment that stands out most is my transition from Product Support Leadership to my current Supplier Quality Specialist role. This role has allowed me to leverage the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the past decade to ensure that the Bluefin brand remains synonymous with quality. Being entrusted with that responsibility has been both humbling and rewarding.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

My Dog Diesel is my co-worker! He not only visited in the office before the non-operational shift to remote work, but he works side by side with me at home…while snoring on the couch. He is even featured on SupplyHouse’s website!
