Christine Benjamin was the winner of ASA’s World Plumbing Day poster contest.

The American Supply Association is proud to announce the winners of the first ASA World Plumbing Day poster contest. ASA partnered with IWSH, the International Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Foundation, the organization that offers the international poster competition for children in the 1st to 6th grades. ASA’s contest was offered to the children of any employee of an ASA member company. In addition, all posters submitted in the ASA contest were forwarded to IWSH for consideration in the international competition.

“ASA is committed to our members and supply chain partners who serve the plumbing marketplace and ensure our public health though the design and installation of plumbing systems throughout the United States,” ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi said. “World Plumbing Day, held each year on March 11, is one keyway we can acknowledge the service they provide. A big thanks to our new partner, IWSH, who along with the World Plumbing Council, has offered the World Plumbing Day Poster contest internationally for more than 13 years. We look forward to continuing and growing our partnership with IWSH in celebrating World Plumbing Day.”

One example of the excitement ASA members showed with the inaugural ASA World Plumbing Day poster contest was the support received from Bradford White Corp., an ASA vendor member and an ASA Platinum Supplier Partner. Bradford White took the initiative after receiving the contest notice from ASA to send a message to all of its employees making them aware of the contest and encouraging participation.

“Bradford White was pleased to share this opportunity with our employees and their families last month”, said Rebecca Owens, Bradford White Corp. senior communications manager. “We share ASA’s commitment to the plumbing trade and understand the essential work and role plumbing professionals provide in the health, safety and sanitation, comfort and infrastructure of communities. It was also a great surprise to learn that members of the Bradford White family were recognized as winners in the World Plumbing Day poster contest”.

Contest Winners:

1st Place – Christine Benjamin

2nd Place – Jason Owens

3rd Place – Klaire Keiffer
