Has your company taken the ASA growth assessment survey?

Is your company prepared to grow and compete well into in the future? To help PHCP-PVF companies answer that question, ASA is offering a confidential growth assessment survey to all ASA-member companies — distributors, manufacturers, master distributors and manufacturers reps.


During NETWORK2021 in Las Vegas late last year, Pam Henderson, president of New Edge, ASA’s partner in delivering this growth assessment survey to membership, outlined in great detail why ASA is providing this new service and how each ASA-member company will benefit.


This assessment not only challenges ASA-member companies to think differently about their businesses and raise awareness about where they are positioned, but it can also help identify company strengths and weaknesses and show areas to invest in to support future company goals.


This tool will lead teams through a confidential self-assessment where they will provide their individual self-evaluation on their company’s growth readiness, growth mindset, ability to think and act strategically, willingness for organizational alignment, and the vision of what the future looks like from their viewpoint.


Based on the survey results, each company receives a confidential growth assessment report. ASA does not see individual company results. The survey contains questions to be answered by company leadership and questions to be answered by other team members.

The VITALITY Growth Assessment Tool will:

  1. Provide an understanding on how aligned your team is around the strategy and structures of your organization.
  2. Identify where your company should focus growth efforts to help ready your business for future success.
  3. Help set meaningful goals and strategic plans for the future.
  4. Provide your company with best-practice platforms for long term growth and profitability.
  5. Challenge you to think differently about your business and assist you in repositioning your company to compete for long term sustainability.

Some survey questions include:

  • How does your organization communicate trends to staff?
  • What is your organization’s attitude toward innovation?
  • How is your growth vision communicated?
  • Does your corporate vision include a focus for growth?

ASA’s leadership has invested in this assessment tool to help our members position their companies to remain relevant and thrive into the future. No other trade association is developing such exciting programs to help their members.
